Dr. Andrew Trussler, M.D.

Dr. Andrew Trussler is an owner and the Medical Director of BEAUX MedSpa in Austin. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, with extensive specialty training in aesthetic and cosmetic surgery.

Throughout his career, Dr. Trussler has been recognized for both his surgical expertise and his scientific contributions to the field of plastic surgery. He has lectured internationally on cosmetic surgery and has authored numerous medical manuscripts and book chapters.

His work has also been featured in professional and consumer publications, including the Consumer’s Research Council’s Guide to America’s Top Surgeons, and he was included in Marquis’ Who’s Who in the United States.

With advanced training across some of the country’s leading medical institutions, Dr. Trussler brings a surgeon’s precision and an extensive understanding of facial and body anatomy to BEAUX.

Education & Surgical Training

Dr. Trussler earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Southern California, graduating Cum Laude. During his four years as a member of USC’s men’s varsity swimming team, he earned All-American honors along with numerous scholar-athlete awards.

He went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, where he was a Dean’s Scholar and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.

Following medical school, Dr. Trussler completed his general surgery residency at the University of Michigan and his plastic surgery training at the University of California, Los Angeles. He then completed a one-year aesthetic surgery fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where he later began his practice in 2007.

Academic Leadership & Experience

From 2007 to 2012, Dr. Trussler served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern. During that time, he directed both the cosmetic residency and fellowship programs and served as co-director of the abdominal wall reconstruction program.

Today, Dr. Trussler practices in Austin’s Westlake area while serving as Medical Director and co-owner of BEAUX MedSpa.
